Prompt #3

Happy Friday!
Yeah, I know the date on this post is not correct but I uploaded the photos several days ago without finding time to write the actual post. But now I'm here! It's Friday May 23, the sun is shining, it is like summer outdoors and in just a couple of hours the weekend begins!

All these layouts are my respons to my Ten to the Power of Å-some challenge and the prompt ink splatter.

I've  already shown this layout on Facebook in Nicole Jones group and there I talked about my wonderful box of bits and pieces for layering and how much it has helped my process to have this wide box of goodies near by.

This is a layout about when my daughter cut her hair at pre school... Love the colors on this page, the hair cut not so much.

This is my sisters in law's dog.

I'm more of a cat person myself so in our house we have a cat :)

And here is a pretty sight, my daughter mopping the floor for Christmas. Yeah child labor at its best :)

I hope that all of you in the States will have a sunny Memorial Day weekend, that we here in Sweden will have a lovely Mother's Day weekend and that everybody else will have a wonderful - no name - weekend! Hugs!

Three new ones

Hello!
Here are three of my most recent layouts. First a selfie where I show my new glasses. The gold dots in the background are home made with water and Perfect Pearl.

I do love that piano washi tape! I'm so happy I bought it! This is my daughter back in 2008 when she was new and chubby :)

Here I put good use to an older G45 paper and I think it fit perfectly with the old buildings in down town Sundsvall.

Take care of you and have a nice day!

Haul from ACOT

Hello!
Yesterday when I got home from work there was a package waiting for me from "over there"! My first ever order from A Cherry on Top! For these six stamp sets and shipping to Sweden I paid US$ 76,67 (530 SEK) and I'm so happy!! I had never been able to pay for (or even find them) in Sweden!

Just look at these darlings!!!! That roll of film, the lightbulb, the photo slide, the paper plane, the anchors and all the lovely texts!! I love it!!! October Afternoon makes the best stamps!

So I bought another set as well! And some small 1'' flair stamps. I have bought epoxi circles really cheap on aliexpress and they will be perfect for making my own flair-like embellishments!

And these are soooo sweet! I love the hash tags! And I will be using home made flair buttons on all my projects from now on! I've ordered! Look at the thumps up! I love it! And the pie chart! They are adorable!

I want to go home and play with all my stamps and all my Stampin' Up ink pads!
Hugs!

Prompt #2

Hello!
I'm back at work after a long weekend - 4½ days off from work due to Labour Day on Thursday, May 1st. It's been really cold and not very spring like, with strong wind and snow, hail and rain. It's been strangely sunny but no one has wanted to go outdoors anyway due to the various stuff falling from the sky.

I haven't done much scrapbooking and I didn't have time to celebrate (inter)National Scrapbooking Day as I had hoped for. But perhaps I can find time during the week, I've seen that some challenges last the whole week.

Today I'm sharing the result of my second prompt for my own challenge Ten to the Power of Å-some. I chose the embroidery prompt and my project helped reminding me why I do this so very seldom. I hate it. Frankly. It is sooo slow! Here is the result anyway, and I've decided to call this prompt done.

My embroidery floss is for making bows and knots, for making small balls and paths on my pages, not for sewing. It is lovely to realize that and be OK with it!

Have a wonderful day - and week!
Hugs from Åsa
