Scrapbooking X-mas 2013

Hello! I haven't bought any Christmas papers this year. I will have no problem making the Christmas cards with papers that I already have in my stash.  But for our December photos I'd love a new line or two so I've ben browsing the web for some papers that look the way I want Christmas to feel.

I've decided not to fall into the "dark red / dark green" hole again, I must try and be different for a change! The last two years I've bought Simple Stories collection packs for Christmas and I will not do that again, I love their style but I get so much elements left and I feel it is a waste of money to buy whole collections that give you so little creative freedom.

I'd love to keep it a bit lighter this year. I'd like to be able to add white and still go with the collection theme. I have found a few collections that I like:

"Nordic Pines" by Bazzill

"So this is Christmas" by Carta Bella
"Magical" by Studio Calico

 "Wonderland" by Studio Calico (2012)

"Santa's list" by Teresa Collins

"Hello December" by Glitz
What to choose, what to choose...
Have a nice day!

  1. You can't go wrong with any of them really, but my top picks would be the Bazzill and Carta Bella. :)

  2. I was just looking for some Christmas lines myself last night. I was looking for one with a lot of the chalk look tho. For the ones you have here I might go with Nordic Pines or Magical. I really like the Glitz line, it's just so different from the "norm", I love it.

  3. I love the Studio Calico lines but they are all nice!

  4. Great choices, no wonder you are stumped! Happy shopping! :)

  5. i am totally with you on the simple stories collections- i always have a ton left over!
love your choices- i am on a buying freeze- going to use up paper from 3 christmass ago

  6. I got the sc magical line. i'm planning on using that for Christmas pictures this year. they're all cute, though!

  7. I think the SC lines are moving further away from the dark reds and greens but there are things I like about all of them.

  8. I love them all, but hadn't seen that Bazzill...that's a lovely line!

  9. I'd be no help at all, I'd say "all of the above"! I do like finding a Christmas line with more than red and green.
